I Asked South-East Govs To Call Peter Obi And Ask Him How He Intends To Win 2023 Election- Chief Dan Ulasi, the former PDP chairman in Anambra State.
A vote for Peter Obi in the South-East is equivalent to a vote for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, according to Chief Dan Ulasi, the former PDP chairman in Anambra State.
In an interview with Kakaaki on AIT, Peter Obi Watch Perer Obi Reply claimed that what he is doing right now is what he should have been doing since last year and that he should have consulted with the South-East governors earlier because, as of right now, every governor in the region has a candidate they are supporting for the 2023 elections. He claimed that if Peter Obi had consulted with them, they would have at the very least questioned him about the viability of the cause he is championing.
He remarked that he has been curious in Peter Obi’s strategy for winning over Southerners and Northerners to his cause. If Peter Obi is successful in garnering the majority of the votes from the South-East, where will he find the remaining votes to give him the remaining 25% of the votes from other states, according to him?Watch Perer Obi Reply
According to him, the South-East is a PDP. stronghold, and if the Igbos support Peter Obi, they are effectively supporting Tinubu, and there is no chance that these votes will help the Igbos win. He explained that by saying Peter Obi won’t win any core APC states.
He asked where the Igbos would end up if they decided to back Peter Obi right now.
For the benefit of the Igbo people, he said he had spoken to a few governors in the South-East and asked them to phone Peter Obi and ask him how he planned to use Igbo votes as well as votes from other regions to win the election.
He added that he is also requesting that all of the South-East senators get together, phone Peter Obi, and find out what his plans are.
He stated that running for the presidency is a team effort and that you should not take it personally
