Peter Obi of the Labour Party Will Be Overtaken If Kwakwanso Picks Wike Or Fayose As Running Mate – Issac Fayose Says
It was earlier reported that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who is the Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) said that his party is in talks with the Labour Party for an alliance and this was confirmed by the spokespersons of both parties.
On Wednesday, June 22, the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike received Peter Obi of the Labour Party in Port-Harcourt and two days later, he received Kwakwanso, and the former Governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose.
The younger brother of Fayose, Prince Issac Fayose took to his Facebook Page where he made some permutations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, he said PDP dealt with Ex-Governor Fayose by not supporting his candidate that came out in Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election. Issac Fayose said that both Wike and Fayose know that it will look somehow if they defect to APC and that they decided to play an ‘alternative card’ by bringing Kwankwaso into the picture.
Issac Fayose said that if Kwankwaso should pick either Wike or Fayose as running mate, he will automatically overtake Peter Obi in the Presidential race and move to the third place behind Atiku and Tinubu, and that if care is not taken, he (Kwankwaso) might even overtake Atiku Abubakar
