See Mario Balotelli and his Lovely Daughters
Just like he is very unpredictable on the football pitch, so is his relationship and the story of him and his family. His relationship status is not married but Mario Balotelli has two lovely kids from two failed relationships.
In July 2012, Balotelli’s former girlfriend Raffaella Fico claimed she was pregnant with his child, but he denied responsibility, however, he finally acknowledged paternity of his daughter Pia following a positive DNA test. Pia was born on 5 December 2012.
In September 2017, Balotelli fathered a second child, a son named Lion, born to an unidentified woman.
Super Mario as he is fondly called by football fans spoke about the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic explaining in an Instagram chat how he has missed his two kids.
“I was going crazy in the last couple of weeks, because I was totally alone. My daughter is in Naples, my son is in Zurich, my mother is of a certain age and needs to be protected, my brothers are in quarantine with their children, so I was left by myself. It was tough.”
Balotelli was born in Palermo, Sicily, as the son of Ghanaian immigrants. The family moved to Bagnolo Mella in the province of Brescia, Lombardy, when he was two.
In 1993, when he was three, Balotelli was placed in foster care to the Balotelli family when his own family was unable to pay for his health care needs. His foster parents are Silvia, the Jewish daughter of Holocaust survivors, and Francesco Balotelli. They lived in the town of Concesio, Brescia, in northern Italy.
At first, he stayed with the Balotelli family during the weekdays and returned to his biological parents on weekends. He later was permanently fostered by the Balotellis full-time and adopted their surname.
