Juventus are reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri with playmaker Miralem Pjanic offered as makeweight.
According to Tuttosport, Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring in players who understand his system and has made a swoop for two of his former Chelsea players.
The potential deal would see Pjanic go the other way after the Bosnian star fell out of favour under Sarri.
The Italian boss prefers a midfielder who is more functional to his fast-passing style and has earmarked Jorginho, who is valued around the £35million mark, as one of his main targets.
He also wants to bolster his defensive options with Emerson, who he had signed for Chelsea just two years ago.
However, the possible swap deals could hinge on Barcelona with Arthur Melo Juventus’ No 1 choice to replace Pjanic, who is expected to leave regardless in the summer.
Pjanic has also been offered to Barcelona and would rather move to the Spanish giants than Stamford Bridge, but Arthur is so far refusing to entertain talk of an exit.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard was eager to add to his squad this summer before the coronavirus pandemic and had already brought in a creative player in Hakim Ziyech.
Pjanic would be a huge coup for Chelsea but Barcelona have made it clear they will be flexible to try and get a deal over the line.
