Dr Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala Bags 2nd Appointment In 24 Hours As Abia Governor Constitutes 6-Member Economic Committee
Less that 24 hours after the World Health Organisation appointed her as special envoy, Okonjo Iweala has been appointed into an Economic Advisory Committee constituted on Friday by the Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu.
The Six-man committee was named the Abia State Post COVID-19 Economic Advisory Committee.
In the statement issued by Secretary to Government and Chairman, Abia State COVID-19 Committee, Barrister Chris Ezem, renowned economist, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, was listed as one of the members.
The committee is saddled with the responsibility of advising government on pathways that would lead to economic boom in the state after the covid-19 pandemic.
Members of the committee are as follows:
- Prof Anya O Anya – Chairman
- Ms Arunma Oteh – Member
- Dr Emeka Onwuka – Member
4: Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala – Member
- Mazi Nnamdi Okwuadigbo – Member
- Mr Chris Odinaka Igwe – Member.
