EDO APC Crisis: Obaseki Faces Early Retirement As APC Governors Backs Adams On Direct Party Primaries!
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki who has been accused of being behind the sponsored spurious actions in courts and the futile plot to oust Oshiomhole.
Amid the backdrop of the political turmoil in the state, mixed reactions have continued to trail the possibility of the re-election of Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State since he fell out with his political god father, Adams Oshiomhole, who incidentally has been reinstated as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter of the party.
The combatants in the crisis that has engulfed the state are all sticking to their guns to ensure that they all come out triumphantly in the September governorship election as some powers in the state has vowed to give Obaseki a treatment akin to the one received by a former governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode from his political benefactor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It’s so obvious at this point that his second term is not negotiable as he faces a tough hurdle to fight harder with other competitive members for the governorship ticket of the party.
