Alexis Sanchez will have to take pay cut if he wants permanent Inter stay (zolex reporters)
Any talks relating to a possible future with Inter past the end of this season for Alexis Sanchez will not take place for some time according to a report in today’s print
The Chilean attacker joined Inter in the final days of the Summer transfer window in a season long loan from Manchester United. An ankle injury, which required specialist surgery, has however limited him to making just four appearances across all competitions since his arrival at the club.
He returned to full training yesterday and is expected to make a return to the pitch in the coming weeks and will be playing for a potential future with Inter in the second half of the season.
In order for any permanent move to Inter to occur, the former Barcelona man would have to accept a significant pay cut. He is currently earning €12 million a year, a sum that Inter just cannot afford to pay.
Moreover, with him still being under contract with Manchester United until 2022, a deal with the Red Devils is unlikely to come cheap either.
