Ligue 1 Nantes have Banned Super Eagles Forward Moses Simon From Playing Games In Kaduna
Nantes rave of the moment Moses Simon has been asked not to take part in any novelty game during the upcoming break by the hierarchy of the Ligue 1 side as the team get set for their last game before the Christmas and New Year break.
Simon has been ever present for both club and country since the start of the season and even yesterday he was on from start to finish as his team slump to a 0-1 loss to Strasbourg in the League Cup.
Presently the holder of the award of the player of the month at the club he has been instructed to take a rest from all football related matters while on holiday as he risks burning out after playing so many games the past six months.
The order means he could for the first time in three years not take part in the annual December game he normally organise in Kaduna at Ribadu Cantonment where he grew up. Last year edition was stepped up to include a party after the game.
With plans in top gear for this year’s edition, the directive from his club could see him miss the game that usually have all top foreign based players in Kaduna coming together to play in front of admirers.
