Inter Milan & Atletico Madrid have strong competition from Crystal Palace in the race to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
The France World Cup winner is expected to leave in the January transfer window after falling down the pecking order under Frank Lampard, who has opted for youth in attack since taking over.
Atletico Madrid are targeting Giroud with Diego Costa out injured until February, while Antonio Conte is eyeing a reunion with the Frenchman at Inter Milan.
However, according to the Mirror, Giroud could end up switching clubs in London and making the move to Crystal Palace.
Eagles manager Roy Hodgson is eager to bolster his attack with Jordan Ayew scoring just four times in 15 Premier League matches so far this season.
Giroud, who has only featured five times for the Stamford Bridge outfit this campaign, would add some real experience and quality up top at Selhurst Park as they look to build on their strong start to this season.
The 33-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Arsenal in January 2018, has seen match-time very limited under Lampard following the brilliant form of England youngster Tammy Abraham.
His chances of starting more regularly for Chelsea have been further hit following the club’s successful appeal against their transfer ban.
And with Chelsea showing interest in Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, it could pave the way for Giroud to join the Eagles.
