Paris Saint-Germain want Kylian Mbappe to sign a new deal to ward off growing interest from Real Madrid.

The Ligue 1 champions fought off the Spanish giants to sign Mbappe in 2017, but Los Blancos are now thought to be planning a move worth around £340million (€400m).

Mbappe’s current deal expires in 2022, but PSG are already planning an extension and an increased salary for their star striker.

However, Mbappe has yet to offer a response to PSG’s proposal and has insisted he is focused only on the current campaign.

Since joining the Parisians in 2017, Mbappe has registered 70 goals in 100 games for the club and led them to consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

He has also helped France lift the 2018 World Cup, scoring in their final victory over Croatia.
